Diagnosis |
Diagnostic Ultrasound is
now considered the standard of care for evaluating vein disorders in the
lower legs. Treatment failures for spiders and bulging veins are often due
to overlooking problems with deeper veins in the legs. Only ultrasound can
see these problems. If the test is ordered and performed at a hospital or
outpatient diagnostic center, it is often done by a technologist who has had
minimal or no training in evaluating the superficial veins.
At
Advanced Vein Center, we
perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in our office using a
state of the art
ultrasound equipment dedicated explicitly to vein evaluations. Our
technologist has received advanced training in evaluating superficial veins
and the doctor is always present during the ultrasound evaluation to review
any questionable findings that should be considered in the treatment plan.

Exceptional Training |
Dr. Hoyle has traveled
both nationally and abroad to several important centers to acquire the
exceptional skill needed for the treatment of vein disorders. He has
studied with some of the leaders in the laser vein surgery field in advanced
centers of La Jolla, Phoenix and Toronto. Most recently, he traveled to
Lausanne, Switzerland to visit
Dr. Albert Ramelet who is one of the world's
recognized pioneers in the modern treatment of varicose veins. Dr. Ramelet
has written a major reference text book on the treatment of varicose veins
and designed some of surgical instruments used today.

Extensive Treatments |
Many patients will have
more than one kind of vein problem and will require more than one kind of
treatment to get the optimal results. Dr. Hoyle is qualified to offer an
extensive variety of treatments to meet the individual needs of the patient.
In many cases, a carefully coordinated treatment program will be necessary
to restore vein health, proper circulation and the desired esthetic results.
